Some people say that it\u2019s by looking back that we find our way forward. I guess there is sme truth to this in that what choices we make generally have roots in what has happened to us before. But I wouldn\u2019t put all tomorrow\u2019s in that catagory. But looking back has made me realize that I miss traveling. it\u2019s been fun having a place to call home for a time and to rest but now I\u2019m getting restless for change and the excitement you get in the journey. Not just the traveling and not being obligated to be at certain places at certain times but just the movement and the different exposer of sensory input and experiences associated with it. Perhaps I’m just being nostalgic and only thinking about the good times and not the bad times? Because it certainly has its share of both. Perhaps it’s because I have been writing the next book and having to remember all those experiences again, that I realized that I was missing it. Some of it. it’s getting colder now in Maruia and the first hint of snow has appeared on the surrounding hills. The kids are looking forward to seeing some snow too soon. Much as we began our first journey 6 year’s ago, we still have bills to pay and the truck isn’t registered nor warranted as yet. but it feels like we are heading out again soon. So many things need to be done still for example I still have some tidying up to do in the truck and to finish the barn. We also still need someone to stay and look after the rabbits and trees. But I have faith and that is like heavens currency. It buys the things money can’t.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
